The Daviess County Solid Waste District has released the holiday closure schedule for the Daviess County Landfill. The following holidays will result in the landfill’s closure:
Election Day – Tuesday, November 7th.
Veterans Day – Friday, November 10th, and actual Veterans Day is on Saturday, November 11th.
Thanksgiving – Thursday, November 23rd, and Friday, November 24th.
Christmas – Friday, December 22nd, Saturday, December 23rd, and Monday, December 25th.
This schedule outlines the holiday closures for the remainder of 2023.
