Tomorrow night it’s Lady Jug Rox basketball on Razor Radio Sports. Coach Kyle Turpin and the Lady Jug Rox host Coach Joey Riggins and the ND Lady Cougars.
Friday night Coach Gretchen Miles and the Lady Hatchets open up at home vs North Knox MEMORIES 107.9 DEWAYNE AND STEVE BROTHERS. Varsity game time has been moved to 7:00 pm. Due to injuries North Knox only has enough to play 2 quarters of JV ball.
The National Federation of State High School Associations has changed rules for free throws and fouls starting this season. No more one and one foul shots. Teams will now shoot two free throws for common fouls when in the “bonus.” The rule for when the bonus is awarded has also been changed. Previously, teams would be awarded one when their opponent committed seven fouls in a half. Now, the bonus will be reached for five fouls in a quarter, and the fouls will reset at the end of each quarter. NFHS says the reason for the new rules is that “Resetting the fouls each quarter will improve game flow and allow teams to adjust their play by not carrying foul totals to quarters two and four.”

As the Colts prepare for their game this Sunday versus the Panthers in Carolina. After their trip to Carolina this weekend the Colts will prepare at home and then make the flight to Frankfurt, Germany after practice next Thursday for an international series game versus the Patriots at Deutsche Bank Park.
