Exciting news for aviation enthusiasts! After nearly a decade in the making, Runway 18/36 at DCY is back in action and open for business. A project that seemed like a long-term endeavor was successfully completed in just under three months. To mark this milestone, a celebration is in the works for the near future.
In the meantime, a big “hats off” to the first plane to take advantage of Runway 18/36. Student pilot Will Merold, under the guidance of CFII Scott Woods at Midwest Aerosports, LLC, tested out the new runway with takeoffs and landings.
