Senior and Family Services, along with the Daviess County United Way and SHIP, the State Health Insurance Assistance Program, are presenting Healthy Seniors Day this morning at the Community Building at Eastside Park in Washington from 9 a.m. to noon. Several vendors will present information on staying scam-safe, Medicare, simple exercises, and much more. Jodi Rook with Senior and Family Services also tells us they will be offering a variety of shots at the fair today…
Those taking advantage of the shots should bring their Medicare or insurance card with them. A free sack lunch will be provided, and Wal-Mart gift cards will be given away. Bingo will start at noon, and flu shots will be available. Tune in for updates this morning on Memories 107.9 FM.
