Washington Community Schools Earns Hope Honors Medal at Kids at the Hope Masters Institute

Washington Community Schools received the Hope Honors Medal at the Kids at the Hope Masters Institute. This award recognizes efforts dedicated to nurturing hope within communities. Recently, a delegation of educators and administrators from Washington Community Schools attended the 18th Annual Kids at Hope Masters Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. This marks the fourth time WCS educators have participated in this conference. Washington Community Schools initially embraced the Kids at Hope belief system in 2017, thanks to the introduction by then-principal Jeanette Lobeck at Lena Dunn Elementary. The program expanded to encompass all elementary schools as the district shifted to grade-level centers in 2022. This award underscores Washington Community Schools’ commitment to nurturing hope and ensuring the success of every child under its care.
