Indiana State Police Investigate Marengo Shooting Incident

Marengo, Crawford County: On September 28, at around 6:25 am, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department received a call regarding a domestic situation at 240 S Murphy Street, Marengo, Indiana. Before law enforcement’s arrival, an individual identified as Skyler Frazier, 23, had been shot at the residence and had left the scene in a vehicle. Frazier, the fleeing individual, later became involved in a motor vehicle collision in Harrison County and was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital due to a gunshot wound. Another individual, Larry Schigur, 52, was taken to Harrison County Hospital by Crawford County Ambulance due to injuries sustained at the residence. The investigation into this incident is still ongoing and in the hands of ISP Detectives. Once the investigation concludes, the case will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for potential criminal charges.
