A collision involving two vehicles occurred at the intersection of W 4th Street and Newton Street in Jasper, resulting in injuries and total losses for all vehicles.
The driver of Vehicle #1, Patricia Shickinger, was traveling east on W. 4th Street and stopped at the intersection of Newton Street. Vehicle #2, driven by Lisa Wehr, was traveling north on Newton Street, approaching the intersection of 4th Street. Shickinger attempted to cross Newton Street and continue onto E. 4th Street. As Shickinger crossed the intersection, Vehicle #2 also crossed the intersection, traveling north. Wehr impacted the right side of Vehicle #1, causing it to rollover and entrapping the driver. Both Shickinger and Wehr were transported to Memorial Hospital with complaints of pain in various body parts.
