Motorcycle Crash in Greene County Sends Rider to Hospital

A motorcycle accident in Greene County led to a Monroe County man being airlifted to the hospital. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, just off State Highway 231. According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, 40-year-old Sean Sargent from Bloomington was heading south on the highway when he lost control of his motorcycle. The bike skidded to a halt in the vicinity of E. County Line Road. Due to the severity of his injuries, Sargent was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital. The sheriff’s office reported that he suffered from significant road rash and possible fractures.
