A joint operation by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, Washington Police Department, Indiana State Police, and DEA Task Force on Friday, September 8, resulted in the arrest of two individuals on Level 2 Felony Dealing in a Narcotic Drug charges. In a series of related traffic stops conducted by DCSO deputies and WPD officers, approximately 100 suspected fentanyl pills and other related items were confiscated with the aid of K-9 Storm. The two arrested individuals were identified as 26-year-old Logan Roger and 28-year-old Stephenie Roger. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office is urging the public to educate themselves and their children about the dangers of fentanyl. This potent drug is often disguised to resemble legitimate prescription pills and can be exceedingly challenging to differentiate. It’s crucial to understand that even one dose or pill can be deadly, particularly if the contents are unknown.
