Washington, Indiana, will be getting a Safe Haven Baby Box today to be the 163rd in the country. Indiana has received 105 baby boxes so far, the most in the nation. The baby box will be placed at the West End Fire Station today at 3 p.m. Since its inception, 14 infants have been placed in these baby boxes this year, and 35 total since the first baby came in 2017. The event is open to the public.
