INDOT has announced a road closure for State Road 56 near Petersburg. Beginning around Thursday, August 31, crews will close State Road 56 near Petersburg. This closure will allow for a culvert replacement. The work is expected to take one day to complete. The official detour for this project is State Road 57 to State Road 61 to State Road 241 to U.S. 41. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
