A tragic incident unfolded on Saturday night, at around 10:56 p.m., as law enforcement authorities responded to a single-vehicle crash on College Avenue in Vincennes. According to initial investigations, Eric R. Boger, 37, of Vincennes, was behind the wheel of a 2001 Toyota pickup truck traveling northwest on College Avenue. While attempting a left turn onto 15th ½ Street, Boger’s vehicle was moving at excessive speed. The truck collided with the curb on the street’s north side, causing it to overturn. Ultimately, the vehicle settled on its passenger side. The driver was not wearing his seatbelt and was pronounced deceased at the scene by a Knox County Deputy Coroner.
