Volleyball last night:
North Daviess grabbed a tough win in five sets defeating Bloomfield for their first conference win 25-19, 25-21, 23-25, 13-25, 15-7. Lanie Cornelius led the way for the Cougs with 13 kills and 27 assists from Amaya McBride. North Daviess is at Rivet tomorrow.
 
Loogootee Volleyball won their home opener last night at Jack Butcher Arena defeating NE Dubois. The Lady Lions also claimed the JV win.
 
The Barr Reeve Tennis team won their match is straight sets over Washington last night 5-0. Barr Reeve improves to 3 and 0 on the young season.
 
North Daviess tennis remains unbeaten with a 4-1 win over Owen Valley. The Cougars travel to Pike Central tomorrow morning.
 
In girls golf, the Lady Vikings grabbed a ‘W’ over Linton and North Knox. Barr Reeve finished the day with a 191, North Knox 211, and Linton 217. Liv Emmons was medalist on the day carding a 39 for the Vikes.
 
The Washington Lady Hatchet Golf team hosted North Daviess, Lincoln, and Pike Central at Country Oaks. Personal records were recorded by Madi Dalton, Riley Young, and Ryley Traylor, with Madi leading the Lady Hatchets for the day with a 41. Washington won the overall meet with a 186 North Daviess – 200 Pike Central – 202 Lincoln no team score.
