DWI Arrest Involving Child Passengers: Driver Faces Charges After Owensville Traffic Stop

On Wednesday night, August 16, around 9:25 p.m., Trooper Hurley conducted a traffic stop on a 2015 Chevrolet in Owensville. The driver, identified as Tamera Reeves, 28, from Princeton, was pulled over for a malfunctioning taillight and a lack of a license plate light. Reeves had her two-year-old son and four-week-old daughter in the backseat. During the stop, signs of impairment were observed, and Reeves failed field sobriety tests. A subsequent investigation showed a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .07% and the presence of cannabis and amphetamines. Reeves was arrested and is currently held in Gibson County Jail on bond.
