Mark your calendars for September 14th as the St. John Center in Loogootee hosts an essential event in partnership with IYI (Indiana Youth Institute), Martin County Community Foundation, and the Nonprofit Roundtable. The presentation, titled ‘Supporting Youth Before and After a Suicide,’ aims to address the critical need for evidence-based prevention and postvention efforts surrounding youth suicide. Suicide affects communities deeply, and this event will offer insights into prevention strategies, the identification of high-risk populations, appropriate language around suicide, and guidance on supporting grieving children. Laura Keys, LCSW, VP of Programs and Social Work at Youth First, Inc., will be the presenter. In Collaboration with the Martin County Community Foundation and the Nonprofit Roundtable.
