Elmer W. Knepp

Elmer W. Knepp, 78, of Montgomery, Indiana passed away at 7:37 a.m. at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
He was born on October 29, 1944 in Daviess County, Indiana to the late William and Mary (Wagler) Knepp.
Elmer married Alvena Graber on March 20, 1969 and she survives.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Elmer was preceded in death by parents, William and Mary Knepp; son, Mervin Knepp; brothers, Abraham (Wilma) Knepp, Amos (Fannie Margaret) Knepp, Henry Leroy (Rosa) Knepp, and William (Lavina) Knepp Jr.; sisters, Mildred (Abraham) Graber and Edith Knepp; brothers-in-law, David Raber and Paul Joe Wagler.
He is survived by his wife, Alvena Knepp; children, Darin (Mary Sue) Knepp, Delmar (Emma Jean) Knepp, Darla (Fred) Wittmer, Ernie (Malinda) Knepp, Mary Lynn (John) Knepp, and Paul (Leanna) Knepp; daughter-in-law, Alta Knepp; 29 grandchildren; siblings, Sylvia Raber, Ora (Rachel) Knepp, Rosemary Wagler, Wilma Jean (Joe) Wagler, and John Ray (Vera) Knepp.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at the Shiloh Community Building in Odon, Indiana. Elmer will be laid to rest in North Bogard Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the Shiloh Community Building and will continue until the time of service.
