Daviess County residents aged 50 and older are invited to a special program at the YMCA. Aging Successfully in Daviess County is offering WISE, a six-lesson educational program covering various topics. Starting August 9th, the sessions will run every Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. until September 20th. In this program, participants will learn about the aging process, make healthy lifestyle choices, discuss risk factors and behaviors to avoid for better health, and gain tools to feel confident about their healthcare. WISE is FREE for all community members aged 50 and above! Facilitators will be available outside to assist those who need wheelchair access.
