Evansville Resident Arrested for Multiple Charges Including Theft and Drug Possession

On July 16th, Britney Fisher, a 37-year-old resident of Evasnville, was arrested by the Jasper Police Department. At around 7:31 AM, officers conducted a traffic stop at Newton and E. 37th Street on a Jeep Patriot that was suspected to be stolen. During the stop, it was revealed that Fisher had been driving the vehicle on a suspended license and that she had a valid out-of-county warrant. Upon further investigation, officers discovered that Fisher was in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, a legend drug, and paraphernalia. As a result, Fisher was charged with theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, driving with a suspended license, possession of a legend drug, and possession of paraphernalia. She was subsequently lodged at the Dubois County Security Center.
