In the MLB All-Star Game last night the National League ended a nine-year losing streak against their American League counterparts in the — and after trailing for much of the contest, they went ahead on a two-run home run from Colorado Rockie Elías Díaz in the eighth inning off of Baltimore’s Felix Bautista and that 3-2 score held even though Philadelphia’s Craig Kimbrel gave 2 walks in the bottom of the 9th.
No upsets at Wimbledon on Tuesday, on the men’s side. No. 2 seed Novak Djokovic and No. 8 seed Jannik Sinner advanced to the semifinals

The agreement between the Saudi Public Investment Fund, the primary funder of LIV Golf, and the PGA Tour shocked the golf world when it was announced last month and now details are emerging. Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund has agreed to invest more than $1 billion in a new commercial entity controlled by the PGA Tour, and Greg Norman will be ousted as the CEO of LIV Golf if the business deal between the Saudis and the tour is finalized, a tour executive told Congress on Tuesday.
