A 40-year-old man, Lance R. Camplin, was arrested on July 4 at 12:30 PM on multiple charges, including possession of a syringe, possession of a narcotic drug, neglect of a dependent, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia. The arrest took place on E. 15th St., Jasper, and Skyview Dr. Authorities had received reports of possible drug use and neglect. After obtaining a search warrant, officers conducted a search of the home, leading to the discovery of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Brittiany Cowan, 34, was arrested on the same charges. Both individuals were taken into custody and are currently lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
