Donna Carol Rumer, 85, passed away at 8:11 am on June 29, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Donna was born on September 10, 1937, in Vincennes and she is the daughter of Maurice and Gladys (Helderman) Devers. She married Raymod Rumer on July 31, 1960, and he preceded her in death on November 7, 2019.
Donna worked at the Executive Inn and Holiday Inn in the catering department and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, knitting, sewing, reading, and being outside gardening and mowing. Most importantly she enjoyed being around her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Yochum and her husband Kenny of Vincennes, Vicki Peters and her husband Martin of Vincennes; her brother, Jim Devers and his wife Kerry of Vincennes; her grandchildren, Shawn Yochum, Andrew Yochum and his wife Andrea, Dirk Bochner and his significant other Karen Lucas, Marti Peters; her great grandchildren, Kaleigh, Colter, Kindall and Drew Yochum, Ethan Peters, Blake, Grant, and Jackson Bochner and her great-great grandchildren, Kaisley Yochum and Charlie Camire. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Gladys Devers and her siblings, Maurice, Ruby Ann, Norman, Dexter and Tom Devers.
