The name of the man killed in a drowning at Hindostan Falls in Martin County last weekend and the details have now been released. According to reports, 47-year-old Kevin Marchal of Princeton was unable to escape from a strong current at the falls after jumping in to save his 8-year-old son. Marchal was able to get his son out of the water before he went underwater and was unable to be pulled out until it was too late. Kevin Marchal is being hailed as a hero with a heart of gold who was always helping people. Funeral services for Marchal are scheduled for today at 1 p.m., with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Heartland Worship Center in Mt. Carmel.
