Edward “Ed” Clift Mack

Edward “Ed” Clift Mack, aka “Daddy Mack” to those closest to him, went to his heavenly home on June 24, 2023 at the age of 84. He died peacefully in his sleep at home in Oaktown, Indiana.
Ed was born on March 15, 1939 to Herschel Mack and Naomi Evans. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1957. He then went on to work at L&N Railroad in 1965, where he worked for 36 years until he retired.
He married the love of his life Barbara Ann Keown on September 15, 1962. Together they raised 5 children and were dedicated members of The Church of Nazarene in Bicknell, Indiana since 1991.
He is preceded in death by both his parents and his wife Barb.
Ed is survived by his five children, Mila Berlin of Sullivan, Paul Mack (Misty) of Evansville, Randy Mack of Oaktown, Eddie Mack (Nicole) of Oaktown, and Angel Hardig (Shawn) of Vincennes, Indiana. He is also survived by his siblings Patty Mack of Montezuma, Ronnie Mack (Marsha) of Lyford, IN, Jimmy Mack of Terre Haute, and Bob Mack (Kathy) of Indianapolis. He also leaves behind his grandchildren and great grandchildren Sam Mack, Ryan Mack,, Hannah Mack, Bella Mack, Addison Hardig, Lilith Hardig, Erica Mack, and her daughters Isabella, Phoebe, Abigail, Layla Selena, and Adaline Martínez.
“Daddy Mack” will be remembered for his kindness, his love for his family, and his dedication to Christ.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M at Bicknell Extreme Nazarene with a service immediately following at 12:00 P.M. also at the church.
