Swift Resolution: Attempted Murder Case Unraveled in Bloomington Within 24 Hours

In Bloomington, an attempted murder case was swiftly resolved within a 24-hour period over the weekend. Police responded to multiple reports of gunfire on South Madison Street around 10 p.m. on Friday. They discovered a man shot and injured in the driveway of East Willow Court. The victim received immediate medical attention and is now in stable condition. Investigation revealed that the victim had engaged in an argument with the suspect, identified as Quentin Farmer Sr., aged 47. Allegedly, Farmer drew a gun from his waist and fired at the victim. Law enforcement recovered eight spent 9mm shell casings at the intersection of the incident. An arrest warrant was issued for Farmer, who was apprehended the following night. Quentin Farmer Sr. now faces charges of attempted murder, possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, and criminal recklessness. He is currently being held at the Monroe County Jail.
