Washington Youth Football Summer Skills and Fundamentals Camp coming up next week for incoming K – 6 grade players. Camp runs from June 19-21st from 6-7:30 pm . 3 day non – contact to teach football skills and work on position specific fundamentals. Cost is only $20 and includes a camp t-shirt. During this weekend’s state finals the late Wayne Patterson of Washington will be the recipient of the 2023 Interscholastic Athletic Official Association Award for excellence in the sport of baseball. Wayne will be honored posthumously in a special ceremony. Patterson was a licensed baseball official for 27 years and officiated 23 sectionals, 19 regionals, five semi-state contests, and four State Finals. Mr Patterson was a 1973 graduate of Barr-Reeve High School.
