Washington Youth Football Summer Skills and Fundamentals Camp coming up next week for incoming K – 6 grade players. Camp runs from June 19-21st from 6-7:30 pm . 3 day non – contact to teach football skills and work on position specific fundamentals. Cost is only $20 and includes a camp t-shirt. If you decide you want to go tickets can also be purchased at the Ticket Office at Victory Field tomorrow. All Tickets are GENERAL ADMISSION. There are NO reserved seats. . Barr-Reeve will have the 3rd Base Dugout. When you purchase your ticket, you may be given a row and seat number, but you can disregard this. Children 5 and under will NOT need to purchase a ticket. Gates open at 3:30 EST. first pitch at 4:30 EST.

During this weekend’s state finals the late Wayne Patterson of Washington will be the recipient of the 2023 Interscholastic Athletic Official Association Award for excellence in the sport of baseball. Wayne will be honored posthumously in a special ceremony. Patterson was a licensed baseball official for 27 years and officiated 23 sectionals, 19 regionals, five semi-state contests, and four State Finals. Mr Patterson was a 1973 graduate of Barr-Reeve High School.
