Golf Sectional 24 down at Sultans Run Golf Club and Loogootee Lion Connor Swartzentruber was one of 3 individuals that will be moving on to the regional. Connor fired a +7 79 to qualify. Jasper is your team champion with a 310 winning by 20 shots over South Spencer and 25 over Springs Valley. Jasper’s Caleb Schnerr shot a 68 to claim the individual title. Loogootee as a team fired a 364 for 6th place in the 13 team field. Lion scoring looked like this Swartzentruber with that 79 Ryken Chandler with a 93, Wade Walton 95, Paxton Arvin 97 and Gunner Fox 108. This sectional feeds to the Regional at Champions Pointe GC in Henryville next Thursday.
Evansville Sectional was yesterday also and Evansville North wins their 7th consecutive title.
 
Today Sectional 22 at Cypress Hills Golf Club of Vincennes tee times start at 9 for all the other area schools.

South Knox won their fifth straight Blue Chip Conference All-Sports trophy with 47 points. Runner-up Barr-Reeve had 39 points. South Knox had team championships in cross country, soccer and track. Other champions in team sports include Barr-Reeve in baseball and Loogootee in tennis, basketball and golf.
 
Barr Reeve’s Elle Knepp who will be competing in the 100m high hurdles at the IHSAA state track meet this Saturday at Indiana University. The 100m high hurdle trials begin at 5:15pm.
Lady Hatchets Basketball Team are working at the Chamber Restaurant on Saturday night from 5-9. All tips will go to the Lady Hatchets which will go towards the program needs for grade 2-12.
 
Washington Hatchet Volleyball Team Hosting their annual golf scramble on July 22nd at Country Oaks. 4 person team entry fee is $200. 8:00 am shotgun start. Lots of sponsorship opportunities..for more information call Rachel Knepp at 486-5331.
