Daniel Voight, a 53-year-old resident of Jasper, was arrested on April 29 at 6 p.m. on charges of strangulation, domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, multiple counts of disorderly conduct, and intimidation. Voight had a prior conviction for domestic battery. He was lodged in the Dubois County Security Center. Jasper police responded to a call, reporting a battered female at 1308 Vine. After an investigation with the help of the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office, Voight was located and apprehended.
