Dennis J. Seals

Dennis J. Seals, 64, of Loogootee, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at his home.
He was born January 19, 1959 in Washington, Indiana to the late Wilson and Irene (Dean) Seals.
Dennis married Cathy Bratton on June 25, 1977 and she survives.
Dennis was a dedicated employee at National Gypsum for 39 ½ years, where he was a member of the United Steel Workers 7-0354. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Dennis loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren. He also loved watching old westerns, WWE, Dateline and listening to rock n roll.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dustin Seals; parents, Wilson and Irene Seals; brother, Kenny Seals; sisters, Mary Holt and Darlene Christmas; brother-in-laws, John “Tater” Bratton and Loren Yarnell; sister-in-law, Sherry Seals.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Cathy Seals of Loogootee; daughters, Tiffany Veilleux and Amber Gilbertson (Damon Baker), both of Loogootee; daughter-in-law, Brandi Seals of Loogootee; grandchildren, Skyler Veilleux, Tyler (Mavin) Veilleux, Elijah Veilleux, Caitlin Veilleux, Brody Gilbertson, Aubri Gilbertson, Raegan Baker, and Dallas Seals; great-grandchildren, Madex and Kanan Veilleux and Baby Boy Veilleux due in August 2023; brothers, Don (Wilma) Seals of Loogootee, Gordon (Marie) Seals of Loogootee, Larry Seals of Loogootee, Chuck Seals of Shoals, and Robert Seals of Jasper; sisters, Sandy (Jim) Isaacs of Loogootee and Judy Yarnell of Shoals; sister-in-law, Carrie Bratton; brother-in-law, Mark Christmas; special nephew, Donnie Seals; and several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
Dennis wished to be cremated and no funeral service will be held.
