A new cabinet company is coming to Loogootee.
According to the Times Herald, the Loogootee City Council voted for preliminary approval of a tax abatement for the new Red Fox Cabinets owned by Todd and Stacy Wilcher.
The two have invested more than $650 thousand in the new business, which will be housed in the former Dollar General location in Loogootee.
The Wilchers plan to hire around 25 people to manufacture cabinet doors.
A public hearing for the tax abatement will be held at the May 14 Council Meeting.
