A teenager accused of murder and attempted murder in Vanderburgh County is wanted by police. Austin Ousley, 18, allegedly shot and killed Shawn Wildt and injured Chad Wildt on February 27th, 2023. The suspect was found in a truck after shooting himself in the head and is currently in a stable condition while being watched by Indianapolis police at a hospital. An arrest warrant has been issued for him, and he will be taken into custody once he recovers and is brought back to Evansville.
