Alma Aileen Wagoner, 85, of Shoals, Indiana, passed away at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 2nd, 2023 at Poplar Care Strategies.
She was born March 19, 1937 in Shoals, Indiana to the late Erwin and Bernice (McFarlen) Hollen.
Alma married Samuel Wagoner on May 4, 1955 and he preceded her in death on October 16, 2020.
Alma attended the Weisbach Community Church. She loved sewing, cooking, and reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Wagoner; siblings, Velma, Virginia, George, Erwin Junior, Joyce, Maxine and Fern.
Alma is survived by her children, Doug (Shannon) Wagoner and Sherri Brett, both of Shoals; grandchildren, Kevin (Mary Beth) Brett, Ashley (Thomas) Kerr, and Evan (Angel) Wagoner; great-grandchildren, Keaton, Katie, and Charlie Brett and Mason and Austin Kerr.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023 at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee, Indiana. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
