The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced lane restrictions for US 231 in Jasper due to sidewalk work. Beginning March 13, the northbound lane of US 231 will be closed from 30th to 36th streets, with northbound traffic using the center lane. The lane closures will enable crews to install sidewalks and curbing. The project is expected to last until the beginning of May, subject to weather conditions.
