Humphreys Park in Linton Receiving Safety and Flood Upgrades

Humphreys Park in Linton is set to receive upgrades to improve safety and reduce flooding. The city of Linton has partnered with the Indiana Department of Transportation to increase the size of the park’s culverts and make the 1100 West and A Street Northeast intersection safer. The upgrades come after concerns were raised about the intersection and the risk it poses to park-goers. Recent drainage renovations have already helped to reduce flooding at the park. Work on the upgrades is expected to begin next year.
