In a game simply dubbed the “Epic Battle.” The Washington High School Seniors gave the Faculty all they could handle but in the end still fell short 76-64. Jameson Dwyer led the Senior attack, while Austin Moody paced the offense for the Faculty. The crowd was electric and a good time was had by all. You can watch the rebroadcast on the WAMW Facebook Page. Proceeds from the night benefitted the Business Classes at WHS.

They will only offer Season passes for pre-sale. The cost is $15.00
Single Session tickets will be sold at the door. The cost is $7.00
Gates will open 1 hour prior to game time.

In Indy Racing News, long time Indy Car Driver Tony Kanaan has announced he will retire following this year’s running of the Indy 500. Kanaan has 17 wins and 11 pole positions since joining the series in 1998 and admits he will miss the excitement of driving everyday . The 48-year old will again be racing for Arrow-McLaren in his final year. The Indy Racing season opens March 5th in St Pete. You can follow all the IRL Races this season on Memories 107.9fm.
The Indiana Pacers return to the court today following the All-Star break with a home match up against the Celtics tonight. Tip-off at 7pm.
The Atlanta Hawks have fired head coach Nate McMillan. Assistant Joe Prunty has been named the interim coach of the team. The Hawks have had a rough season so far as they are currently in eighth place in the Eastern Conference. This comes just two months after their president of basketball operations, Travis Schlenk, stepped down on December 21st.
