Arrest Made in Feb. 2nd Incident of Man Putting Gun to a Mans Head at a Petersburg Gas Station

On the evening of February 2, the Pike County Sheriff’s Deputies were advised that an unknown male had pointed a firearm at a group of males in a vehicle at a gas station in Petersburg, Indiana. Pike County Sheriff’s Deputy Briar Meadors investigated the incident and was able to determine that this incident stemmed from a prior disagreement between the parties involved. At one point, the suspect, who was armed with a pistol, held the pistol approximately 6 inches from the victim’s head, telling the victim he was from Indianapolis and he did not mess around. That evening, one male was arrested for aiding in the commission of this crime, and Deputy Meadors was able to determine who the unidentified male was. Deputy Meadors completed a thorough investigation into the incident, conducting multiple search warrants and completing hours of paperwork. On February 11, the US Marshalls Task Force arrested the suspect who pointed the firearm in Indianapolis, IN. Deputy Meadors was assisted in this investigation by Pike County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Clint Boger, the Petersburg Police Department, the Indiana State Police, and the US Marshals Task Force.
