Hatchet wrestlers competed in Sectional action at Castle on Saturday and placed 4th in team competition. Hatchets had wrestlers in 13 of 14 weight. All 13 placed top 6 with 8 wrestlers advancing to regionals next Saturday.

Washington 8th grade Lady Hatchets traveled to Heritage Hills on Saturday Morning to play in the semifinal game of the PAC tournament. Washington 8th grade would get off to a great start winning over Forest Park 44-40. Which moved the 8th grade Lady Hatchets to the Championship game versus Fort Branch in the Championship game. They would lead the whole game until early in the 4th quarter but would eventually fall short 27-34.
The 8th grade Lady Hatchets will finish the regular season with a at 21-4. They play in the Japer tourney on Tuesday night at 7:15
The Washington sixth grade boys team fell to 11-6 on the season with a loss at Vincennes Rivet 35-28. Cole McCleese, Drew Clawson and Jax Rodriguez each scored 6 points for the Hatchets. The Hatchets next game is Monday night at Barr-Reeve.
