More information on the shooter Thursday night at the west side Walmart in Evansville.
The shooter has been identified as 25 year old Ronald Ray Mosley II, a former employee.
Officers were notified around 10:00 pm Thursday night and given a description of the shooter, assembled a team and began the search.
During the search the suspect would fire at officers, leading them around the store and the gunman was eventually killed.
One employee was shot by the suspect and taken to the hospital for treatment.
The shooting marked at least the second time Mosley attacked Walmart employees. He was charged with four counts of misdemeanor battery after police say he assaulted four people inside the store just before midnight on May 18, 2022.
