Sandra Lovell, 70, passed away on the evening of January 3rd, 2023.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Brent Lovell; sons Damon, Doug (Samantha), and Dusty (Megan) Blackburn; sisters Patty (Gary) Horrall and Marilyn (Jim) Gryder; as well as eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren – all of whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by husband Denny Blackburn; brothers, Boyd and Kenneth Selby; and sisters, Ruth Wyatt, Linda Cox, Annalee Asbell, and Maxine Aikman.
Sandy was a retired nurse who dedicated her life to caring for others. She was a kind and compassionate person who will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Services for Sandra will be held for close friends and family at 12 PM EST on Saturday, January 7, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 10 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to PC Pound Puppies / NewLife Rescue at P.O. Box 295, Mt. Vernon, IN 47620, as that was a cause and organization dear to her heart.
