Linda Carole Utt, 80, of Vincennes went to be with the Lord, Sunday December 4, 2022, at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Linda was born July 4, 1942, in Vincennes to Farrell S. and Mildred L. (Groves) Hatton. Linda married Bennie Utt on December 3, 1961 and celebrated 60 years together.
Linda dearly enjoyed being a homemaker to her husband and four daughters, reading, and spending time laughing, and serving her family. She and her husband enjoyed attending sporting events and extracurricular activities with her children and grandchildren. She attended the Monroe City Church of God. Over the years Linda led Sunday School and worship service. Her love of the Lord Jesus and her family set an example for her children she cared for that will lead them all their lives.
Surviving are her children Kelly Koskey and her husband Brian of Vail, AZ, Becky Cockrum of Vincennes, Michelle Conrad and her husband Chris of Oaktown, Diane Thomas and her husband Joe of Monroe City; her grandchildren Nyssa Koskey, Sierra Cockrum, Bryant Cockrum, James Cockrum, Jasper Conrad, Jalen Conrad, Noah Thomas, Eli Thomas, Jackson Thomas, and Layla Thomas; her great grandchildren Mila McCarthy and Jackson Davis; and her sisters and brother Kathy Nickless Cornwell, Mike Hatton, and Debra Hatton.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Benjamin Ephraim “Bennie” Utt who preceded her on January 23, 2022; ; and a brother Robert Hatton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Upper Indiana Cemetery. Visitation for friends will be from 11:00 am until the service time. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Linda Utt. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lord’s Warehouse in memory of Linda.
