Emily Hawkins leads the Lady Lions to their first win of the year with 25 points.  Loogootee jumped out early and never trailed in the contest.Barr Reeve loses to Evansville Christian on the road. 58-50.   Vikings got a lead up to 11 points in the second half but a rash of turnovers spoiled a great night by sophomore Hannah Bledsoe who tallied 25 points and 17 rebounds.

The WJHS 7th grade boys basketball team improved to 4-1 on the season with a 35-27 win over Sullivan. Kayden Gross led the way with 19 Points followed by Zach Frady and Darian Turner with 5 each, 4 from Jackson Howell and 2 from Carter Browning.
The 8th grade WJHS boys basketball team (2-0) remained unbeaten as they took down Sullivan 51-24. Aiden Boyd paced the Hatchets with 14 points followed by Calab Bouchie with 10, Brody Armes and Levi Burkemper each with 8, Jack Brower 6, Jaxson Voyals 3 and Drew Jones 2.
Barr Reeve junior high gets a couple of wins over Linton.  7th grade wins 28-23 in overtime. Easton Graber leads with 9 and Wrigley Wirtz chips in 8
While the 8th grade wins 52-7. Miller Thompson has 9 while Kierson Lengacher, Jayden Gaber and Carson Yoder all have 7
