The Washington V.F.W. and American Legion will present a special Veterans Day program Friday morning on the steps of the Daviess County Courthouse. The event begins at 11 a.m. tomorrow morning, and the guest speaker this year will be Lieutenant Commander David Buitrago, NSA Crane’s Executive Officer. Following the program, everyone is invited back to the American Legion to enjoy ham and beans. Remember, all city and county offices will be closed for the holiday; there will be no trash pick-up or mail delivery, and banks will be closed tomorrow.
