The American Legion in Loogootee will be hosting a special Veterans Day ceremony tomorrow morning at Post 120 in Loogootee. The ceremony will begin at 10:45 a.m., followed by a 21-gun salute at 11 a.m. A light lunch will be served, and the guest speaker will be retired Major General Dan Golglazier. Other ceremonies for the day will be held at Loogootee Elementary School at 8:30 a.m., and the Loogootee Junior/Senior High School will also honor our veterans with a special service at 9 a.m. at the High School. All residents are invited to attend and honor our heroes, the men and women who put on the uniform to serve our country and keep us safe.
