School Board Election Results in Washington

One new school board member won the seat for District 1 in the Washington School Board, while another retained his seat in last night’s election. Sarah Browning will be your new school board member for District 1, as she captured nearly 51 percent of the vote. Ryan Dashner finished second with around 22 percent, and Denise Walden garnered 18 percent of the vote. In District 2, Scott Arthur retained his seat as he defeated challenger Tom Bouchie with 57 percent of the vote to 43 percent for Bouchie. Two other new school board members will join Browning and Arthur, as Dr. Jason Omer ran unopposed along with Garrett Miller.
