Our Community Foundation has awarded a grant to Washington Community Schools for lighting updates in Washington High School’s Lifeskills classroom. The grant will help purchase light covers for the room. “These light covers will filter the light to lessen the impact on students who are susceptible to sensory overload,” says Lifeskills teacher Rita Eblin. The grant was awarded through the foundation’s mini-grant program.
