And on Tuesday November 8th a couple of second year coaches get going with Barr Reeve’s Lacey Higgins at the helm hosts Orleans and WC’s Lady Cardinals of Kari Craney is on the road at Shakamak.
Rory Mclroy not only repeated as champion at the 2022 CJ Cup, turning in a four-round total of 17-under 267, But he has again ascended the World golf rankings to the number 1 spot. McIlroy signed for rounds of 66-67-67-67 at Congaree Golf Club and successfully defended his CJ Cup title from a year ago in Las Vegas.

With the Colts’ offensive woes reaching an apex, the team decided on a shift at the quarterback position. Indianapolis is promoting Sam Ehlinger to starting QB for Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders, coach Frank Reich said. Ryan who sustained a shoulder injury on Suday won’t play or practice this week because of the injury, Reich said, but he emphatically stated that the move is intended to be for the remainder of the season. Ryan, 37, threw two interceptions in the Colts’ 19-10 loss at Tennessee, the first one returned for a touchdown by Andrew Adams. Ryan leads the NFL with nine interceptions through seven games. He also has fumbled 11 times, losing three. Meanwhile, the Colts are 29th in scoring, averaging 16.1 points. Sunday’s game was the third contest this season in which the Colts scored 12 points or fewer. The Colts are 3-3-1 this season, including 1-3-1 against AFC South opponents. No matter who the quarterback is, the offensive line is going to have to step up and protect the passer as well as create some openings for running back Johnathan Taylor.
Major League Baseball has its World Series lineup set, as a familiar face will square off against a team that hasn’t been to the Fall Classic in 13 years.The Houston Astros rallied from an early three-run deficit Sunday night to sweep past the New York Yankees 6-5, and win the series in four straight games. The Astros advanced to 7-0 in this year’s postseason after sweeping the Seattle Mariners in the divisional round of the playoffs.
In Philadelphia earlier Sunday, the Phillies defeated the San Diego Padres 4-3, winning its series in five games. Bryce Harper hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning to lift the Phillies to its clinching victory. Philadelphia travels to Houston to play Game 1 of the World Series on Friday. First pitch is at 8:03, pitchers have not yet been announced.
