The Loogootee Lions tennis team of TJ McAtee keep rolling in the state tourney just like they did in the regular season with a 5-0 win over South Knox
 
In the other tennis regional semi final Jasper over North Daviess 4-1 which sets up a big time showdown between Jasper and Loogootee tonight.
 
Jaylen Mullen wins in 3 sets and advanced for North Daviess individually, he’ll play Vincennes Lincoln’s Gus Mccrary tonight at 5:30 for the individual title. Loogootee plays Jasper Wednesday night.
 
In the 1A boys soccer sectional it was the Washington Catholic Cardinals with a dominating win over North Knox Warriors by a score of 7-0. WC lead 2-0 at the half and erupted for 5 second half goals. Cardinals now face Mitchell tonight 7:30 at South Knox. In the other semi final it’s South Knox Vs NE Dubois.
 
The Washington Catholic girls soccer team will face off against the White River Valley Wolverines tonight in game 3 of the Sullivan 1A sectional at 7:00 pm.

It was senior night in Montgomery. Barr reeve beats NE Dubois 3-0. Thats 18 straight wins for the Lady Vikings and clinches their 15th Blue Chip Conference title in last 16 years.

Colts running back Jonathan Taylor is hopeful he’ll be able to play Thursday night against the Denver Broncos despite a badly twisted right ankle suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Tennessee Titans. The All-Pro running back said Tuesday he is rehabbing furiously and has seen definite improvement since Sunday.Taylor was wearing a boot on his right lower leg during Tuesday’s light practice. Taylor is not at risk for further injury based on what team doctors have told coach Frank Reich.
Nobody is feeling good about themselves as the Indianapolis Colts visit the Denver Broncos in NFL Week 5 action on Thursday Night Football.
The Colts (1-2-1) have made a habit of falling behind early and trying to rally. They have trailed at halftime in all their games, including a 14-point hole that yielded a 24-17 loss to the Tennessee Titans last week.The Broncos (2-2), despite the presence of Russell Wilson at quarterback, have also struggled offensively. They are coming off a loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, who earned their first victory.
The Milwaukee Bucks are slight favorites to win the 2023 NBA championship, and Luka Doncic was tapped as most likely to win the 2023 Most Valuable Player award in NBA.com’s annual survey of all 30 of the league’s general managers. The 21st edition of the survey was released Tuesday and saw Milwaukee receive 43% of the vote. The other teams to receive votes were the defending champion Golden State Warriors with 25%, the LA Clippers with 21% and the Boston Celtics with 11%.
Popular Japanese professional wrestler and lawmaker Antonio Inoki, who many will remember faced world boxing champion Muhammad Ali in a 1976 match that helped pioneer mixed martial arts as a huge spectator sport, has died at 79. With his archrival, Japanese legend Shohei “Giant” Baba, Inoki made pro-wrestling a hugely popular sport in Japan. Inoki founded the New Japan Pro-Wrestling in 1972.
