Corabelle (Grow) Price, 98, of Washington, IN left this life on September 25, 2022. She
deeply loved the Lord. She was born in Washington, IN on July 3, 1924 to the late
Everett and Margaret (Henson) Grow. Corabelle was a graduate of Washington High
School’s class of 1942. She then married, the love of her life, Ira Price on October 15,
1944. Corabelle served as a secretary to her husband as a minister and an insurance
agent, but her main job was to be a homemaker. Corabelle was best known for having
the most beautiful smile and it will be deeply missed. She had many hobbies throughout
her life such as entertaining family and friends, sewing, crocheting, quilting, painting
ceramics, tole painting, cooking, baking, and teaching Sunday school.
Corabelle was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ira Price; brothers and sisterin-law Gaylord Chester (Wilma) Grow and Rupert Burl (Carolene) Grow.
She is survived by her daughters Twyla (Jon) Pitman, Mardell Noble, Denise (Steven)
Walden, Lawanna (Coy) Robinson; grandchildren Laura Lenell (Jay) King, Robin (Andy)
Lawrence; Beau (Brandy) McDowell, Heath (Jesenia Leon) Robinson, Jarrod (Devan
Arvin) Robinson, Brooks Robinson; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored and entrusted with the care of Mrs. Price. Visitation will be
held Thursday, September 29, 2022 4-8pm and Friday, September 30, 2022 10-11am
at 2020 State St. Washington, IN. A funeral service will be held Friday, September 30,
2022 at 11am with burial at Bethany Cemetery following.
