Let’s start with some soccer in Jasper, a doubleheader called by Dewayne Shake and Monty Critchlow on WAMW. In the first game, it was the Hatchet Girls playing tough, getting a goal from Izzie Howell, but in the end, it was Washington falling 3-1 at Jasper.
In game number two, a heartbreaking loss for the Hatchet boys. Washington lost to Jasper 3-2 on a penalty kick late in the second half.  Washington goes to 9-4 on the season, while Jasper is now 11-5.
As you heard on Razor Radio Sports with Greg Bateman and Mike Wagoner, at the Jack Butcher Arena. It was the Loogootee lions over the Washington hatchets in volleyball. Those scores were 25-13, 21, 10
Another day – another win for Coach Mullen’s North Daviess Cougars. 5-0 winner over South Knox to run their record to 18 and 1 on the season.  Next up is Thursdays first round of the SWIAC tournament.
As the Colts prepare to play Kansas City on Sunday, one of the Chiefs starting linebackers, Willie Gay,  has been suspended by the NFL for four games for a violation of the league’s personal conduct policy. Gay was arrested in January in Overland Park, Kansas, on a charge of criminal property damage of less than $1,000, a misdemeanor.Gay’s suspension will begin immediately. He will miss games against the Colts, Buccaneers, Raiders and Bills
The stage is set for  the 2022 Presidents Cup, which is Thursday thru Sunday, where 24 of the PGA Tour’s top golfers — 12 from the United States and 12 from non European countries around the world — will meet for the biennial matches. The U.S. team holds a dominating 10-1-1 record in the matches
