David M. Livers, 70, of Loogootee, IN passed away on Saturday September 17, 2022, at Heart to Heart
Hospice of Evansville, IN.
He was born of November 11, 1951, in Washington, IN to Carl and Louise (Downey) Livers.
David was a rural postal carrier in Martin County. He delivered mail for 35 plus years to local residents
until his retirement. David was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loogootee, IN. He
loved science fiction, popcorn, and watching movies. He was very intelligent and knew all kinds of
History.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Louise (Downey) Livers, and his brother Michael
Livers.
He is survived by his niece Tonya Myles, his nephew, Daniel Livers, cousin and caregiver, Cathy (Downey)
Cooper, and cousin, Carla Downey.
Cremation was chosen according to his wishes; burial will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery at a later
date.
