It was an historic day in Bicknell on Saturday. Only four years removed from having one golfer, the Barr Reeve Lady Vikings won the IHSAA sectional championship. Barr Reeve shot a 364 which bested South Knox by four shots and North Knox by 20 shots to move into this Saturday’s regional at Country Oaks. North Daviess finished a respectable 4th but did not advance. It was a total team effort by the Lady Vikings: Olivia Emmons, Braylee Knepp, Madison Brunson, Brynlee Rollins, and Brynna Knepp. Here’s Coach Robinson
There was good news for Washington as well, as their junior Channey Clark qualified as an individual with an 81.  Chaney’s was the low score amongst individuals not on one of the three advancing teams. South Knox’s Trinity Dubbs was again the sectional champion with a 73.
In tennis the Washington Hatchets boys played two pocket athletic teams on Saturday coming away with two big wins.   In the 3–0 win over Mount Vernon winners for the Hatchets were. Elijah Parsons and the doubles teams of Alex Myers with Brian Martinez and Ryan Emmick and Hayden Tomey.
Then the Hatchets defeated South Spencer, with everyone winning.  Brycen Neidigh and Jorden Meriden  join Parsons , Myers /Martinez and Emmick/ Tomey.
North Daviess tennis is now 16-1 after giving up just nine total games to a 13-5 Sullivan team in a 5-0 win.  Senior night for the Cougs is tonight vs Evansville Christian at 5:30.

The Washington Hatchets ended their long losing streak with a much needed win on Homecoming Friday night at Hatchet Hollow shutting out PikeCentral 41 to nothing.
 
North Daviess came away with a big win over #13 Edinburgh on the road 44-20
 
Evansville Mater Dei topped jasper 27 to 7
 
North Knox got a shut out win over North Central 35 to nothing
 
Castle topped Vincennes Lincoln 35 to 21
 
Linton Stockton over Boonville 50 to 40
